Uninstalling SPC for Excel
Below are the instructions for totally removing SPC for Excel from a PC or Mac. If you just want to remove it as an add-in, please see this link.
The video below is for the PC only and covers both removing SPC for Excel as an add-in and removing it completely from your PC. The video shows version 6 but the steps are the same for version 7.
For PC:
- Close Excel.
- If you don't know the location of the software, search the computer for "spcforexcelv7" (this is the software program file). Note the location.
- Browse to the folder and delete the software program file.
- Open Excel.
- You will get a message that the file "spcforexcelv7.xlam" cannot be found. Select OK.
- Select File
- Select Options
- Select Add-in
- Select "Go" by Mange Add-ins
- Uncheck "spcforexcelv7.xlam"
- You will get a message asking if you want to remove it from the list. Select Yes.
- Select OK.
For Mac:
- Select Tools on the Excel menu.
- Select Add-ins.
- Uncheck "spcforexcelv7.xlam"
- You will get a message asking if you want to remove it from the list. Select Yes.
- Select OK.
